Why we publish these
A question a student was stuck on is worth more than a chapter summary, because it is evidence of where the difficulty actually is. These are real questions sent in by students, answered by teachers, and left up for the next person who gets stuck at the same place.
Reading an answer is not the same as being able to produce one. Work the problem first, get stuck, and then read — the answer will stay. Read it before you have struggled and you will recognise the method without being able to reach for it in an exam.
