Work on the thing
students actually use.
Three openings right now, all of them making the material and the media a student sees every week — the papers they sit, the notes they revise from, the videos they watch. Small team, no agency layer between the work and the people it is for.
Three openings
All three are at the Sector 16 centre and all three make things students and parents see directly. Nothing here is internal tooling nobody looks at.
Write to hr@zigyan.com with samples. For DTP, one set paper. For design, the two pieces you are proudest of and one you would redo. For video, a two-minute cut. Portfolios tell us more than a CV.
Four things that are different
Your work reaches people directly
A paper you set is sat by the whole batch that week. A result creative you design is the thing a hundred families forward to each other. There is no client, no account layer, and nothing disappears into a queue.
You own the craft decisions
We agree the brief, the standard and the deadline — not how you set the page, cut the edit or build the layout. The same principle applies to teachers, who agree the syllabus and the testing calendar and nothing beyond it.
Small enough to see the effect
Every result Zigyan publishes is a named student with a rank anyone can check — 37 JEE Advanced selections across 6 years, best rank AIR 168. On a team this size you can trace what you made to who it reached.
Run by a teacher
Rahul Kaushik Sir founded Zigyan and still teaches most weeks. Academic decisions are made by someone who was recently in front of a class, which changes what those decisions look like.
No teaching vacancy right now
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology are all covered today. That is a good thing to be able to say and it is why we are not advertising a teaching seat.
Write anyway if you teach one of them. Batch sizes here are capped so a teacher can name every student's weakest chapter, teachers stay with a batch rather than rotating through it, and academic decisions are made by someone who was in a classroom that week. Those are the reasons teachers join us from larger institutes, and they do not change between hiring rounds.
The subject you teach, where you have taught it, and how you would explain one genuinely hard chapter to a Class XI student who is behind. A paragraph is enough, and it tells us more than a CV does.
What we look for
Craft, and the judgement to apply it to an audience that is sixteen and under time pressure. A beautiful layout that makes a question harder to parse has failed; so has a video that is well cut and three minutes too long. The constraint is always the student, not the brief.
Prior experience in education is not the filter and most of our best work has come from people without it. What does not transfer is the habit of designing for a client rather than a reader — here the reader is the client, and they are revising at 11 PM.
Working here, answered
Are the three open roles full-time, and at the centre?
What should I send with a design or video application?
Do teachers here also handle admissions or sales?
How many batches would I take?
Is there scope to teach Olympiad material?
Do you hire part-time or visiting faculty?
Send work, not a CV
One set paper, two designs and one you would redo, or a two-minute cut. It tells us more than a CV, and we read all of them.
