The people who
actually teach.

The teachers named here, with the subject each one teaches and how long they have been here. Teachers stay with a batch rather than rotating through it, so the person listed against your child's subject is the person who will teach it all year.

Who teaches at Zigyan

Every name and every photograph here comes from Zigyan's own team page. We do not list teachers we do not have, and there are no stock portraits standing in for people.

Rahul Kaushik

Rahul Kaushik

Founder & Director · HOD ChemistryEx-HOD Chemistry, Bansal Classes Kota · 2010–2019

Twenty-three years of teaching, nine of them running Chemistry at Bansal Classes in Kota before founding Zigyan. He still teaches most weeks, which means academic decisions here are made by someone who was in a classroom that week.

Kanchan Prasad

Kanchan Prasad

HOD Mathematics2021 – present

Heads Mathematics across the Foundation, Class XI and XII programmes, and the Olympiad work that runs alongside them — IOQM sits under Mathematics rather than with the sciences.

Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar

Chemistry2023 – present

Teaches Chemistry across the classroom programmes, working with Rahul Sir on the Physical, Organic and Inorganic split that Class XI opens with.

Dheeraj Kumar

Dheeraj Kumar

Physics2024 – present

Teaches Physics from Foundation through to the dropper batch — Mechanics and Modern Physics carry the most weight in JEE Main, and both are taught here from first principles rather than from formula sheets.

Teachers stay with a batch

A student's Physics teacher does not change in February, and their Chemistry teacher knows what was covered in Mathematics last week because they share a staff room rather than a timetable. That is one of the things a single centre buys, and it is why we have not opened a second one.

What to ask when you compare institutes

Every coaching centre will tell you its faculty are experienced. Two questions get past that. How many students are in the room? — because the best teacher in Faridabad cannot know your child's weakest chapter in a batch of two hundred. And who exactly will teach my child, and will it be the same person in March? — because rotating teachers through a batch is common, invisible from outside, and costs a student the continuity that makes mentoring work.

We publish the answers to both. Every teacher named above is real, teaches the subject listed against their name, and can be asked for by name when you call.

Common questions

Faculty, answered

Who is the best chemistry teacher in Faridabad?
Not a question anyone should answer about themselves. What we can tell you is checkable: Rahul Kaushik Sir ran Chemistry as Head of Department at Bansal Classes in Kota from 2010 to 2019 before founding Zigyan, and he still teaches. Judge it by sitting in a class — that is a request we say yes to.
Who teaches Physics?
Dheeraj Kumar, from Foundation through to the dropper batch. If you are comparing physics coaching in Faridabad, the useful question is not who is on the website but how many students are in the room and whether the same teacher stays with the batch all year.
Will the same teacher take my child all year?
Yes. Teachers stay with a batch rather than rotating through it — that is a stated principle and it is one of the reasons we run a single centre. Rotation is common elsewhere and it is invisible from outside until it happens.
Does Rahul Kaushik Sir teach, or only run the institute?
He teaches, most weeks. It is less common than it sounds once an institute reaches a certain size, and it is why academic decisions here are made by someone who has recently been in front of the class they concern.
Who teaches Biology for NEET?
Biology is taught in the Class XI and XII programmes — NEET is half Biology and it is not an afterthought here. The teacher is not yet listed on zigyan.com’s team page; call +91-9211538800 and we will give you the name and tell you who would take your child.
