cancellation policy

Fees are paid in instalments, and you can stop
Programme fees at Zigyan are paid in instalments across the year, not as a single payment up front. That is the most important thing on this page, because it decides what a refund even means here. A student who decides to leave does not need to reclaim a year's fee — they complete the instalment they are in and do not pay the next one.
A student may discontinue at any time. There is no notice period, no exit fee, and no obligation to continue paying once a student has left.
If you cancel within 14 days of enrolment, the fee paid is refunded to the original method of payment, less the non-refundable items listed below. After 14 days the instalment structure applies instead: the current instalment stands, and no further instalments fall due once the student has left.
What is and is not refundable
The ₹200 ZEST registration fee, which is the only amount published anywhere on this site. Registration, admission and administrative charges are also non-refundable. These cover work already done — a paper set and marked, a place held, a file opened.
If Zigyan cancels a programme, every student enrolled in it is refunded in full, including the amounts described as non-refundable above. A cancellation on our side is our cost, not yours.
Where a student has attended classes and a refund is due, it is calculated pro rata on the sessions remaining, less the non-refundable amounts.
Medical emergencies, relocation and comparable circumstances are considered case by case, outside the ordinary terms. Ask, and explain the situation — this clause exists to be used.
Fees may be transferred to a different Zigyan programme within one month of enrolment, subject to availability and approval.
Requesting a refund
Write to admin@zigyan.com with the student's name, the programme and the reason. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days of approval, to the original method of payment.
