Most Class XI students do not have to decide yet, and the ones who decide early often decide wrongly. At Class XI level the Physics and Chemistry syllabi for JEE and NEET are nearly identical — the real difference is Mathematics against Biology, and a student can carry both for a year without much waste.
What settles it is usually test data rather than preference. A student who consistently solves Physics problems faster than they recall Biology detail is telling you something, and it is more reliable than what they said they wanted in June. Our mentors make that call with the student in Class XII, using the reports rather than a conversation.
The engineering exams stack neatly: JEE Main is the qualifier for JEE Advanced and the route into every NIT, and BITSAT shares almost all of the same syllabus with a different pace. A student preparing seriously for JEE Advanced is already most of the way to the other two, which is why they are taught together rather than as three courses.
Olympiads sit apart. They reward depth over speed and are worth doing for the habit they build rather than the certificate — the student who will sit with one problem for an hour is the student JEE Advanced rewards two years later.
